Frequently asked questions
Can you extend my existing builder patio?
Yes. Patio extensions are one of our most common jobs. We pour the new section right up to your existing slab so it reads as one patio.
Can you pour a slab for a pergola or outdoor kitchen?
Yes. Let us know what's going on top and where, and we'll plan the slab around it so you aren't cutting into new concrete later.
Plain, stamped or stained: which should I choose?
Plain broom-finished concrete is the most budget-friendly and gives good grip. Stamped concrete adds the look of stone, brick or wood planks. Stain adds deep color and works on new or existing slabs. We'll show you examples during the site visit.
How soon can we use the patio?
You can usually walk on it within a day or two. Wait about a week before moving heavy furniture, grills or planters onto it, depending on the weather.
Do you need to talk to my HOA?
Backyard patios often don't need HOA approval, but some communities want to see plans for anything visible from the street or for shade structures. Check your HOA rules and we'll help with the details you need.
